Matty was diagnosed with ALS, a type of Motor Neurone Disease (MND), in February 2020, at the age of 39. He bravely battled the disease until September 2022 when he passed away.
Matty's mantra, "Making Lemonade," draws inspiration from the famous saying, "when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade." Matty exemplified this philosophy in his life.
We have two incredible children, Banjo and Frankie. Together, we collaborate on designing our merchandise, they both play an integral role in this creative process. Their remarkable resilience and immense pride in their dad, inspired by his unwavering determination, shine brightly through them.
Our mission is to inspire others by demonstrating that even in the face of incredibly challenging circumstances, it's possible to make lemonade while simultaneously raising awareness and understanding of MND.
Matty was just one of many warriors fighting against this beast of a disease, for which there is currently no cure. The average life expectancy post-diagnosis is a mere two years.
